UniDirect® is a specialised software service which can be used by parents from their mobile phones or PCs to connect to their child’s/ward’s school, to access important information online or engage in day-to-day tasks. Parents would also be able to receive alerts and notifications on their mobile phones or email on important school announcements and messages. For example, parents would be able to check/receive their child’s homework, or even submit a leave letter, online, at any time.

The UniDirect® Experience

UniDirect® has been created based on feedback from heads of institutions and parents to address three areas:

  1. Online Information Availability & Delivery
  2. Schools have realised that:
    • Parents and students require regular day-to-day information on various school/classroom related tasks (For example, homework for the day).
    • The lack of information in these areas could lead to parental/student anxiety.
    • By ensuring that information in these areas are made available online, or pushed to their mobile phones automatically, schools can demonstrate that they are proactive and responsive to parental requirements, thereby creating a strong connect between the school and its parental community. UniDirect® is the ideal platform through which the school would be able to deliver a rich experience to the parents/students and establish a strong connect.
  3. Online Transaction Capability

UniDirect® is much more than a platform for providing information. It incorporates features through which parents can engage in online transactions, to deliver greater convenience. For example, fees can be paid online, or a leave letter may be submitted online.

  4. Online Learning Assets

UniDirect® facilitates teachers to create question banks and quizzes using easy-to-use interfaces. These quizzes can be taken online by students, at any time. The Learning Zone would continuously be populated with learning materials by the teachers, and would become a great asset for the school and its students.
